Dana John CobleMOUNT PERRY: Dana John Coble, 93, of Mount Perry, died unexpectedly Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at his home.He was born on February 25, 1920 in Perry County a son of the late F. H. and Grace Coble. He was a lifelong farmer and retired welder at Central Silica. He was a World War II Army veteran. He had a strong Christian faith and enjoyed fellowship at various local churches.He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Ruby Coble of the home; two daughters, Carol Kroft of Fairfield and Deborah (William) Conley of Newark; two grandchildren, Lisa (Jeffrey) Ellis of Newark and Drew Kroft of San Diego, CA; three great grandchildren, Joshua and Jordan Ellis and Benjamin Harmon; several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by one daughter, Diana Johnson; one granddaughter, Samantha Harmon; three brothers, Glendon, Walter, and Stanley "Jim" Coble; one sister, Mary Coble.Friends may call from 3-6 p.m. Sunday, March 17, 2013 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home, 5765 Gladstone Drive, White Cottage. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 18, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Arthur Potts officiating and burial in Poplar Forks Cemetery.
