ABBOTTSTOWN Dale T. Aubel, 46, formerly of Delta, died on Sunday, October 19, 2014. Married on July 11, 2011, he was the loving husband of Rose (Dillon) Aubel. A son of Dean A. and Patricia A. (Ramsburg) Aubel of Delta, he was born on November 21, 1967, in York, and was currently employed as a truck driver for Jerry Preston Trucking. Mr. Aubel attended the Woodbine Assembly of God, was a member of the American Legion Post #445 of Stewartstown, and of AMVETS. Mr. Aubel enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing music. He played numerous string instruments and for several years was with the Long Ryde band. He is also survived by four children, Daniel Aubel and his wife, Amanda of Delta, Lacey Aubel of New Park, Levi and Jacob Aubel of Abbottstown; a sister, Donna Sizemore and her husband, Tom of Airville; two stepdaughters, Marcia Rummell of Hanover and April Upole of Gettysburg; one grandchild; five stepgrandchildren; two nieces; and two nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2014, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main St., Delta, where the funeral service will begin on Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Fawn Grove Cemetery.
