DIFFENDAL, Dale LeRoy 69, died peacefully at home in Greensboro, North Carolina on December 4 in the company of his loving and devoted wife, Gretcen. He was born on July 15, 1947 in Springfield, Ohio to Roy and Mildred (n?e Farmer) Diffendal. Dale served in the 101st Airborne Division of the United States Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a graphic artist by profession. He is survived by his daughter, Gretcan R. Ohlig, and three grandchildren, Emma Margaret, Henry Charles, and William James, of Westfield, New Jersey. He also leaves his siblings, Dean Diffendal, Bonnie Erhle and Karen Blake, and her husband Tom, all of Springfield, Ohio, and his beloved brother Kent Diffendal, of Greensboro, North Carolina, and ten nieces and nephews. At the request of the deceased, there will be no services. Dale was a wonderful and gentle man and will be greatly missed.
