Dale ChlarsonJanuary 16, 1934 - July 25, 2014Grace: Dale Thomas Chlarson, 80, of Grace, Idaho passed away on Friday, July 25, 2014 at the Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, Idaho. Dale was born on January 16, 1934 in Brigham City, Utah the son of Abram Hans and Susan Lucille Egbert Reynalds Chlarson.He graduated from Box Elder High in Brigham City. Dale married Alta May Mansfield on September 11, 1952 in Logan, Utah.He was a Federal Meat Inspector for the USDAFSIS until he retired.Dale enjoyed horses, farming, gardening, woodworking, carpentry, he could build anything. He loved his family and spending time with them. He is survived by his wife Alta May Chlarson of Grace, ID, four sons and one daughter, Thomas Dale & Jody Chlarson of Downy, ID, Rodney Lynn & Shauna Chlarson of Pocatello, ID, Dennis John & Charlotte Chlarson of Nampa, ID, Jeffrey Jay & Windy Chlarson of Calera, AL, and Julie Ann & Roy Beard of Chubbuck, ID. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren, two brothers, Bud Chlarson , Lee Chlarson, and three sisters, Donna Waters, Della Burnstin, Jean Hillhouse. He was preceded in death by his parents, two grandsons, Levi Chlarson, Jared Hale, a great-granddaughter, Britney Chlarson, a brother Glen, and two sisters, Darlene and De Ann.Services will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Grace LDS Stake Center. The family will visit with friends on Wednesday evening from 7-8 p.m. at the Sims Funeral Home in Soda Springs and on Thursday morning from 10-10:45 a.m. at the Stake Center prior to services.
