Daisy June Cook, 68, Monticello, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017, in Monticello.She was born on June 26, 1948, in Lafayette to the late Clarence and Ethel (Ward) Draper.Daisy was a security guard for Tri-State Security for five years. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with friends and family. She is survived by three sons, George P. (Dawn) Cook Jr., Michigan, Jody B. (Misty) Cook, Elkhart, William W. Cook, Lafayette; two daughters, Cheryl (James) McAnelly, Monticello, Shannon Gage, Elkhart; two brothers, Clarence Draper Jr. and Martin D. Monroe; four sisters, Virginia Carnahan, Dara Carpenter, Carolyn (Don) Elliott, and Sara "Kitty" Draper; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.She was also preceded in death by brothers, Robert Draper, Jack D. Hines, Donald K. Draper, James Draper, and a sister, Mary Monroe.Visitation will be Saturday from 1 p.m. until the time of services at 3 p.m. celebrating Daisy's life. Services will be at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Dodson officiating. Private burial will take place at the Brookston I.O.O.F.
