Cynthia Rose Oxendine Clark, 53, of Laurinburg passed away after a long illness on Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2013 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel officiated by the Rev. Opie Swails and the Rev. Howard Harding. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
Cynthia was born on Oct. 6, 1959 in Scotland County, daughter of Bernice Haire Oxendine and the late Roosevelt Oxendine. She was a hard worker and enjoyed cooking. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who truly loved spending time with her family and friends.
Cynthia is survived by her children, sons Garry Dean Clark and wife Kenley of Laurel Hill and James Matthew "Matt" Clark and wife Myrtle of Gibson and daughter Chelsea Paige Clark of Laurel Hill, mother Bernice Oxendine of Laurinburg, sisters Sybil Oxendine of Laurel Hill, Melissa "Lisa" Stubbs of Gibson, and Melissa "Leslie" Mitchell of Laurel Hill, seven grandchildren: Makalyn Clark, Keldon Clark, Brooke Clark, Christina Canton, Samantha Clark, Taylor Clark, and Daniel Matthew Clark, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2013 at the Multitudes Church.
