CYNTHIA MARIE HUNTER HILL Cynthia Marie Hunter Hill passed away peacefully at Mercy Hospital in Redding, California on November 23, 2016 with her family by her side. She was born on February 24, 1954 in Scotia, California to parents Frank and Lena Pires and attended schools in Fortuna. After her daughter was born, Cindy worked as Assistant Manager for OH's Hamburger King. She also worked as a cook for 101 Cafe and as Manager of the 76 Union Gas Station on Myrtle Avenue. She had many friends from her days of bowling at Empire and Broadway Lanes and from Dialysis. She loved going out to eat, attending relative's birthday parties and baby showers. She leaves behind the love of her life James Hill, her daughter Angela Pish and fiance' Ryan, grandchildren Jenna and Brandon Pish, step grandchildren Tiffany, Erin, Cookie and Reggie Menniwether, brothers Robert (Connie) Pires and Ernie (Karen) Pires, sisters Rose Sallady and Kathy (James) Pires; also numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Lena Pires, her second husband Ed Hunter, and cousins Albert Leal, Lena Leal and Linda Carter.
