Walunas, Cynthia L. Cynthia Lynn Rendle Walunas of Tempe, Arizona passed away on March 22, 2017 at the age of 59. Cynthia was born on August 3, 1957 in Springdale, Arkansas. Her family later moved to Phoenix, Arizona where she grew up. She was the oldest of seven children. She was kindhearted, adventurous, loved people and animals. She had an infectious smile that made everyone happy. She was preceded in death by her father George Rendle. She is survived by her husband Duncan Walunas of 34 years of marriage. She is also survived by her mother Barbara Battey; Aunt Virginia Fain; and six siblings Cheryl Hill, Michele Humbertson, Debra Baubie, Kimberly Pritchard, Catherine Murphy, George Rendle; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be held at 11:30 AM on Monday March 27, 2017 at Hansen Mortuary Chapel, 8314 N. 7th Street, Phoenix 85020. Inurnment will follow at 1:00 PM at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek, Phoenix 85024.
