Clifton Sorrells, 60, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed Friday, June 21, 2019. Clifton was born September 11, 1958 in Kansas City Junction, Missouri. Clifton retired from Ford motor company as an Engineer for 40 years. 

His favorite pastime was sitting around the table with his grandchildren and telling stories. He was also an avid traveler and visited Italy, his favorite place, four times in his life with his children and grandchildren. He often practiced his Italian and continued to stay sharp into his older age. Every morning you could find him checking the stock market and reading the news, especially politics, on his computer or smartphone. Clifton was there for every moment of his grandchildren's lives, both big and small. He never missed a beat. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister. He is survived by his 6 children: Shemeki Alease Love , Clifton Rashaun Sorrells, Shannay Rachel Love, Shauna Mona Love, Larry Marcell Sorrells, and Clifton Sedric Sorells jr. He also is survived by 7 grandchildren. Shemyi, Shyion, DeAndre, Jaxson, Myrah, Dylan and Meko. A very special memorial will be help Saturday June 29, 2019 at Swope Park to celebrate Clifton's life. He was a great man, a loving son, brother, father, grandfather and friend. He will forever be missed.
