Clifford Munk Clifford Andreas Munk, 86, a longtime resident of Paso Robles, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2017, in Morgan Hill, Calif. Mr. Munk was born on October 6, 1930, in Atascadero, Calif. He was an electrical contractor by trade, but his passion for music and church ministries took the forefront of his life. Having talent and passion for music, Cliff began playing for church when he was thirteen and regularly played for multiple churches in the central coast area. He played for multiple traveling quartets, church conferences, missions, prisons, concerts weddings and funerals. Cliff had played for over 500 weddings and funerals. He acquired a pipe organ that took two years to reassemble and had over 2,500 pipes. Cliff enjoyed music so much that he had multiple pianos, organs and accordions in his home. An avid learner, he expanded his musical skills to include the vibraphone, marimba and Swiss cow bells. In 2001, Cliff was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Lois Elaine Munk. He was survived by his daughter, Melanie Joy of Bakersfield, Calif., and her three children, Ruth Ann, Lenae and Rachel. He was also survived by his son, James Andrew, daughter-in-law, Kathy of Morgan Hill, Calif., and their two children Cameron and Elle. Mr. Munk was laid to rest at Paso Robles District Cemetery in a private graveside attended by his family.
