Claudia GuntherSatellite BeachClaudia Gunther, 62, of Satellite Beach, passed away peacefully in her home on Oct. 9, 2016 after a long time battle with chronic illness.  She was born on Feb 18, 1954 in Brooklyn, NY.Claudia touched many lives in her time on Earth. Anyone who knew her can attest that she was truly one of a kind. She had a brilliant mind, which allowed her to connect with people from all different walks of life. She was a gifted artist, leaving behind many soulful paintings to be appreciated. She had an amazing sense of humor, and could be counted on for a good laugh when least expected and most needed. As a devout Catholic, she had a strong faith in God that carried her through to her final moments. Above all, she had a deeply compassionate and generous heart, which will be sorely missed by friends and loved ones.She is survived by her son; Christopher Grant, mother; Teresa Gunther, siblings; Robert Gunther, Mary Gunther, and William Gunther.A funeral mass will be celebrated at Holy Name of Jesus, Indialantic on Saturday, October 29 at 10:30 am.A private committal service will be held at the Alderbrook Cemetery in Guilford, CT on Tuesday, November 1st.Claudia's memorial page may be visited at www.beachfuneralhome.com.
