Clarise Mae Hensley Kellams, 84Winchester, IN - Clarise Mae Hensley Kellams, 84, of Winchester, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2017, at home, surrounded by loved ones. She was born on April 3, 1933, in Muncie, to Chester A. and Mattie Mae (Hodson) Hensley.Clarise worked as a waitress through most of her adult life. She worked at the Winchester House, Courtesy Café, and most recently at the House of Flavors and enjoyed visiting with her customers. Clarise also was employed for many years at Helms Meat Market. Clarise attended the First Church of the Nazarene in Winchester. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, gardening, and most importantly spending time with her friends and family. Clarise left behind to cherish her memory a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy (Wasson) and Stu Barns; four grandchildren, Amy Barnes (Dean) Hiatt, Brain (Dawn Love) Barnes, Elizabeth Barnes (Jeff) Winningham, and Megan Barnes (Clint) Dailey; 10 great grandchildren, Maci, Rylan, Chase, Justin, Lane, Isaiah, Gannon, Lydia, Luke and Landre; 5 great great grandchildren, Cami, Mason, Aleeyah, Brylee, and Weston; a brother, Darrell (Betty) Hensley; and many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Maxine Shell and Kathleen Lawrence; and three brothers, John Hensley, Clayton (Buddie) Hensley, and Leonard Hensley.Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at the Walker Funeral Home in Winchester, with Pastor Danny Hines officiating. Friends and family may call from 4-8 p.m., on Wednesday, November 1, at the funeral home. Memorials can be given to the Cancer Services for Randolph County, 133 N.
