Smith, Clara Joann 81, died November 30, 2016. Clara was born on December 30, 1934 in Pawhuska, OK, to Frank Sr. and Rosie A. (Ward) Omstead. Visitation held from 4-7 p.m. Friday, December 2; Funeral Service, 11 a.m. Monday, December 5, both services will be held at Affinity All Faiths Mortuary, 2850 S. Seneca, Wichita. Burial will take place following the service at White Chapel Memorial Park. Clara was preceded in death by her husband, Clark D. Smith; parents, Frank and Rosie A. Omstead, Sr.; children, James D. Smith, Cybil D. Smith, and Donna Waggner; brothers, William Omstead, Sr. and Frank Omstead, Jr. She is survived by her children, Clifford Smith, Clark D. (Mary) Smith Jr., Rosietta (Brian) Gas-Boyd, Clarence (Lynette) Smith, Sue Fletcher, Brian (Crystal) Smith, Joann Cook, and James (April) Wilson; sisters, Betty (Tom) Straight, Karen Hood, and Mabel Newren; 40 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
