Rowe, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2017 in the Envoy of Staunton.Mrs. Rowe was born on May 27, 1929 in Rockbridge County, a daughter of the late Ollie Isaac and Mary Alice (Fultz) Huffman.Clara was a member of Elk Run United Church of the Brethren.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting, knitting and spending time with her friends at the Tastee Freeze and Hardees.In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Rowe was preceded in death by a son, Jerry W. Chandler; a brother; and eight sisters.Mrs. Rowe was the last surviving member of her immediate family.Surviving is a son, Jack W. Chandler, Jr. and his companion, Rachel P. Branham of Staunton; three grandsons, Jack W. Chandler, III and his wife Cindy of Fishersville, Jason Chandler and his wife Kelli of Staunton and Chad Sligh of Verona; seven great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Martha (Brooks) Chandler; nieces and nephews; and a number of special and close friends.The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, July 17, 2017 in the Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.A Graveside service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 18, 2017 in Oaklawn Memory Gardens by Rev.
