Cindy Hatcher, age 52, of Tawas City died on Saturday, Aug. 8, 2015. She was born on July 28, 1963 in Detroit to the late Robert and Amy Buyse (nee Greene). Cindy has lived in Tawas since 1977 and graduated from Tawas Area High School in 1981. Most recently, she worked for the school system as a bus driver. Cindy enjoyed flower gardening, antiques, going to garage sales, golfing on the Wednesday night league and mostly helping others. She was always first to volunteer and she was a wonderful and loving wife, mother and sister. Cindy is survived by her husband, Jeffrey, whom she married on Oct. 1, 1983 in Tawas City; her two sons, Bradley (Amber) Hatcher of Tawas City and Drew Hatcher of Tawas City; brother, Robert (Helen) Buyse of National City; sister, Cherie (Kenny) McKenzie of Tawas City; brother, Richard (Helen) Buyse of Macomb; grandchildren, Dylan and Arianna Hatcher; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 12 at 11 a.m. (instate at 10 a.m.) at New Hope Church in East Tawas with interment to follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Buresh Funeral Home in Tawas City. Memorials may be directed to the family and condolences may be offered at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com.
