Cindy Darlene CoteCindy Darlene Cote, 53, of West Lafayette, IN, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2017 after her battle with cancer and surrounded by her family at IU Health.She was born on September 14, 1964 in Monon to Willis Anker. Cindy graduated from Harrison High School in 1983.On May 28, 1983, she married her high school sweetheart, Jerry A. Cote, in Lafayette and he survives.Cindy owned Cindy's Childcare for 32 years. She enjoyed childcare, spending time with her children, and her dogs, especially Angel, her Yorkie. Cindy always put others before her self.Surviving are her husband, Jerry A. Cote of West Lafayette; her children, Alicia (fiancé-Don Haas) Cote of Lafayette, Tabitha (Jordan) Hall of Port Byron, IL, Amber Cote of Lafayette, and Brittany (Lucas) Cain of Lafayette; her siblings, Ronnie (Deb) Anker of West Lafayette, Cheryl (Vince) Angot of Kentland, Charlene (Gary) Stapleton of Gary, KY, and Richard (Colien) Anker of California; a step sister, Michelle Campbell of Brownsburg; and her father and mother-in law, Gerald and Sharon Cote. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Jaylyn, Hailee, Jayden, Bentley, and Sophia.She was preceded in death by mother and father-in-law, Joyce and Ken Glass.Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Fisher Funeral Chapel. Services will follow at 1 p.m. at Fisher Funeral Chapel with interment in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.Memorial donations may be made to or to Tricia's Dog House in loving memory of Cindy.
