Christopher Lee Holman was born on March 12, 1967, in Boston, Massachusetts and made his transition on February 7, 2020. He was the loving son of Mamie Holman and brother of Ernell Johnson of Orangeburg, SC and Vernette Holman of Holly Hill, SC. Cherished nephew of Estelle Holman of Holly Hill, SC. He was predeceased by his aunt, Nora Clark of Washington, DC. Chris is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Christopher, aka Chris aka Barry White, graduated from Jamaica Plain High School. Chris was a hard worker and dedicated his life to being the best possible person to his family and friends. Chris was an amazing "MAN". He was always there when needed in good and bad times for those he loved. He was often a source of comfort for those close to him because there was just something about Chris that made you feel safe. Chris' smile was so infectious.....and that laugh! When he laughed, he would light up the room.
He last worked at City Fresh Foods for a number of years and took great pride his work. Chris enjoyed spending time with his family and friends enjoying life. He liked watching scary movies and sports, and like most Bostonians, he was a dedicated Patriots fan. As we all know, Chris loved to dance and what a great dancer he was. He had the smoothest moves. Chris loved the late-night scene hanging out with friends, dancing and having a good time. The highlight of his evening would be heading back home to eat his mother's delicious food after a tough night of dancing!
Although Chris will be missed by all, he leaves us with wonderful memories we can hold close in our hearts. He leaves behind his beautiful mother, Mamie, who he loved with all of his heart and soul as she was his rock.....his everything. In this time of mourning, let us not forget the wonderful woman who gave us Christopher. Please continue to pray for her health and strength.
