Christopher Allen BukerCOLUMBUS: Christopher Allen Buker, age 40 of Columbus, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2017, at his residence. He was born on November 6, 1976, in Petersburg, Virginia to Glenn A. and Betty (Miller) Buker. Chris was a 1995 graduate of Riverview High School and had been working in Columbus at J.C.Penny's. He enjoyed camping and loved working on computers. Chris is survived by his parents, brother, Shawn (Deeanna) Buker of Coshocton and sister Sheena (Richard) Mullins of Coshocton; nieces and nephews, Ryan, Leesay, Saylee, Katie, Sarah, and Matthew; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his loving feline companion, Max. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Hursey and Virgie Miller and paternal grandparents, Glenn D. and Joann Buker. Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 24, 2017 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at Given-Dawson Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Friday at the funeral home at 1:00pm with Pastor Mark Granger officiating. A private family burial will take place following the service.
