PARRISH, CHRISTOPHER AARON (KID) - age 38, died suddenly at home on June 19, 2009. Chris was a member of Washington Pike United Methodist Church. He was born on July 13, 1971 in San Diego, California, and then relocated to Knoxville with his mother, sister and brother at an early age. He attended Knoxville Baptist Christian School and graduated from Fulton High School in Knoxville in 1990 before completing courses at Tennessee Institute of Electronics in 1993. Chris worked for Del Air in Knoxville for 15 years. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles J. and Margaret L. Shults whom he loved dearly. Chris was a good and loving father to daughter, Hayley Rhiannon Parrish who he leaves behind. Chris is also survived by his mother, Charlotte A. Parish; father, Sergeant Major Sidney Parrish, who is retied from the United States Marine Corps and living in Camp LeJune, North Carolina; sister, Kaye and husband, John Whitt; brother, J. Bird Parrish and wife, Karen; aunt Molly Meighan; uncle, Joe Meighan, Jr.; nieces, Kayla Whitt and Brandi Monhollan of Chattanooga; nephew, Austin Hill; cousins, Teresa and Rusty Sharp, Collen and Mike Bartlett, Joe III and Lori Meighan, Julie Meighan, Patrick Meighan and Daniel Meighan all of Knoxville; other close friends and acquaintances. Family and friends will meet at the main entrance to Greenwood Cemetery at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday for graveside services at 10 a.m. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-9 p,m. at Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel. www.rosemortuary.com
