KENDALLVILLE — Christine L. Knight, 59, of Kendallville, Indiana, died Monday, Nov. 24, 2014, at Parkview Regional Hospital, Fort Wayne, at peace with the Lord. She was born on September 15, 1955, in Kendallville, the daughter of the late Delbert and Maxine Nickerson Wilks. On August 1, 1992, Christine was united in marriage to Harry Knight in Kendallville. He survives. Christine worked for several manufacturing companies and her most recent was Drivesol with the majority of her career at King Seeley and Eaton. She loved crafting, quilting, and spending her time with her family. She was a member of the Eagles Women's Auxiliary of Kendallville. She was honored to attend both International and State Conventions for the Auxiliary. She attended Fellowship Bible Church in Kendallville. Survivors include her husband, Harry Knight of Albion, Indiana; daughters, Stephanie Bell (Randy Dunn) of Kendallville and Tonya Knight of Indianapolis; sons, Joshua (Suzanne) Bell of Sheffield, Illinois, Adam Knight of New Castle, Wayne Knight of Kendallville and Zachary Knight of Westville, Indiana; three grandchildren, Trinity, Oriah, and Chance Knight; three sisters, Cindy Wilks of Kendallville, Jessica (Shaun) Kendall and Valerie (Greg) Richards of Sanford, Florida; three brothers, Tim (Laura) Wilks, John (Amy )Wilks, and Tommy Wilks of Sanford, Florida; stepbrother Dennis Brunkhart of Kendallville; stepsister Teresa Betz of Fort Wayne; and stepmother Lois Wilks of Sanford Florida; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Christine was preceded in death by two sisters, Beth Ann Brunkhart and Brenda Brunkhart Sadler, and stepfathers Lloyd Brunkhart and Cleo "Bud" Campbell. A cremation committal will take place at Legacy Cremation & Remembrance Center in Ligonier with a Celebration of Life Service to be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Indiana Kidney Foundation for research and development. Legacy Cremation and Remembrance Center is assisting the family with arrangements.
