Loving wife and best friend to husband Mark Appelman. Beloved daughter of Margaret (Grueninger-Gwidt) Larkin and David R. Gwidt. Beloved step-daughter of Joyce (Wegner) Gwidt. Dear sister to David A. Gwidt (Jane), Lynn Gwidt Toigo (Marc), and Kathleen Gwidt Schreiner (Steve). Dear step-sister to Steve Wegner, Merrill (Wegner) Ratajczyk, Laura (Wegner) Richards, Sally (Larkin) Winger and Patricia (Larkin) Bunce. Dear sister-in-law to Margarita Appelman, and daughter-in-law of Edgar Appelman and Margaret Linklater Appelman. Treasured niece of Joseph Gwidt. Auntie Chrissy to Andrew and Ross Toigo, Davey, Paul, and Danny Gwidt, and Sam, Caroline, and Pattra Schreiner, and Joao, Andre, and Roque Mejia, and many beloved cousins. Christine was born on November 10, 1968, in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. She spent most of her young life in Wisconsin and enjoyed her teenage years in Irvine, California. She maintained many of the friendships formed in her early years throughout her life. Christine graduated from LUHS in Minocqua, WI. Christine attended the University of Wisconsin Stout, and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. She had a successful career for 13 years in the apparel industry, employed by Levi's, Liz Claiborne, and Faye's clothing companies. In 2005, Christine followed her passion of helping others through healthcare working as a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant with intensive training in Lymphatic Studies and Sports Rehabilitation. In her spare time, Christine was passionate about her art work, Bible studies, and especially doting on her two dogs Bonnie and Clyde. She was a friend of Bill W. Christine was deeply loved, more than words can possibly express, by her husband, family, friends, patients, and co-workers. She brightened the lives of all of us who knew and loved her. We are greatly saddened by her loss, but know she is in the loving care of our Heavenly Father. A 2pm visitation with a memorial service at 3PM and reception to follow is planned for Sunday September 3rd at Elmbrook Church on 777 S Barker Road, Brookfield, WI.
