Politano, Charlotte Joan Age 86 Charlotte Joan Politano, 86, passed away at home on December 12, 2016 in Clinton, MD. Charlotte was born on April 29, 1930 in Sullivan, Indiana to the late Leo Phillips and Helen Cushman Phillips. Charlotte retired at the rank of Major in the United States Air Force - serving her time as a nurse. Following her time in the USAF, she continued to work as a nurse and most of all enjoyed her volunteer work as an Arlington Lady, Red Cross Volunteer with working Medivac at Andrews (including Sunday evening, 11 DEC16), and with the Accokeek Foundation National Colonial Farm. Charlotte is survived by her Husband of 52 years, Dennis A. Politano, Daughter, Janine A. Stier, Son in Law Paul, her Brother, Robert Phillips, Sister in Law Lenore Quick, and beloved nieces and nephews. A viewing will take place on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 from 3 pm ? 5pm, immediately followed by a time of remembrance at 5pm-6pm, at the Lee Funeral Home. 6633 Old Alexandria Ferry Road, Clinton, MD 20735.
