Charles "Charlie" RardonCharles "Charlie" L. Rardon, 75, of Lafayette passed away on Monday, October 16, 2017 at 1:43 p.m. at IU Health Arnett.  Charlie was born on June 4, 1942 to the late Almond & Christine Rardon.  Charlie married Lucy Rosenbaum in Indiana on March 30, 1963.  Charlie worked as the head custodian at the Glen Acres Elementary school until retiring in 2004.  Charlie was always thankful for a beautiful day and his family. He is survived by his wife, Lucy Rardon, daughters, Angela (husband: Kirk) Thinnes, Cynthia (husband: Jesse) Arroyo, and son, Charles M. Rardon.  Also surviving are 3 grandchildren, Kasey Thinnes, Travis Thinnes, and Brittany (husband: Jonathan) Arroyo Volpi, 2 brothers, Lester Rardon, Keith (wife: Kimberly) Rardon, and sister, Alice Bowman.He is preceded in death by one brother, and two sisters.Services will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior at Simplicity Funeral Care with Rev.
