Charles A. "Charlie" Weilacher Sr., 66, of Ash St. Punxsutawney, Pa. died Monday, November 17, 2014 at his home.He was born on August 9, 1948 in Brockway, Pa. He was the son of Fred Jacob and Virginia (Long) Weilacher.On February 7, 1970 in Brockway, Pa. he married the former Alice Runyan (who survives).He worked as a tree-trimmer, clear cutter, mince coal tipple, the Marienville Foundry, as a park ranger for Cook Forest State Park, as a custodian for MacBeth Cabins in Cook Forest and a heavy equipment operator for the Leeper Landfill.He was a member of the Flowing Waters Church in Brookville, Pa. and a member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. He enjoyed reading and studying his Bible outside in the rain, snow, or sunshine.Surviving in addition to his wife, are: Four sons and one daughter: Robert M. "Bean" Weilacher of Oil City, Charles A. "Oink" Weilacher Jr. (Krystal) of Oil City, Lynn Hartzell (Daniel) of Clarion, Kevin Weilacher of Brookville and Jason Weilacher of Oil City and four grandsons and four granddaughters.Also surviving are four sisters: Carol Osborne of Sugar Grove, Pa., Margaret Johns of Kittanning, Mary Corcy of Brockway and Barbara Himes of Brockway.He was preceded in death by: Parents and two brothers, Delbert and James WeilacherVisitation at the McKinney Funeral Home in Brookville will be Friday, November 21 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, November 21 at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Cal Davie officiating.Memorials may be made to the , 823 Filmore Ave. Erie, Pa. 16505 or to the Donor's Choice
