Charity Lenora FrederickJackson, TNCharity Lenora Frederick ended her journey here on Earth after a long battle at Jackson Madison County General Hospital on April 23rd, 2017. She was a loving and caring mother and wife and devoted her life to her family. She was born on May 5th, 1931 to Lee and Lovie Drake and lived her entire life here in Jackson, TN.Although she endured more tragedies that most, she never lost her faith in God and passed with an Angel figurine clutched in her hand.She was preceded in death by her husband Woodard Frederick, her parents Lee and Lovie Drake, along with siblings Bessie Hunt, Ruby Farrow, Gracie Drake, James Drake and Jack Drake. She lost 2 of her 3 children along the way; Sheila Frederick and Ronald Frederick. We all know it was a joyful and amazing reunion as she entered the gates of Heaven and was greeted by the loved ones she missed so very very much.She is survived by her son Tony Frederick, step son Bucky Frederick and step daughter Kathy Royals. She had two loving grandchildren, Casey Frederick and Erica Cook along with 2 great grandchildren, Jada and Nathan Bradshaw. She also leaves behind a niece and nephew, Sherry Permenter and Steve Farrow.She was a true inspiration to everyone she met and will be missed. But she will remain alive forever in the hearts of everyone she knew and touched.The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, April 25, 2017 from 4-6 p.m. at George A. Smith and Sons South Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Bro. Johnny Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Grove Cemetery.
