Celeste E. MarshHanoverCeleste E. Marsh (Miller) died peacefully at home surrounded by family on April 9, 2016, in Hanover, at the age of 62.Celeste is survived by husband, Fred L. Marsh, Jr.; children, Allison Bogdanovic (Stefan), Andrea Welch (Clayton), Alissa Farrar (Scott), and Adam Marsh (Nichole); grandchildren, Austin Marsh, Benjamin Marsh, and Henry Farrar; her parents, Lavere and Inice Miller; siblings, Todd Miller (Holly) and Monica Thacker (Ray); parents-in-law Fred and Sylvia Marsh. She is preceded in death by her mother, Lucile Miller.Celeste was born on October 25, 1953, in York, to Lucile and Lavere Miller. She graduated from South Western High School in 1971. She married Fred Marsh, her high school sweetheart, in 1975. Over six years, the couple welcomed four children into their home. Her children remember her as a caring mother who encouraged them to pursue their goals. Celeste was a generous person who loved her family. She was an active and dedicated member of St. Jacob's (Stone) United Church of Christ where she taught Sunday School and Bible School and sang on the choir. She was a trained medical secretary and aid at Baresville Elementary School.Funeral services are at 11 a.m. on April 14 at St. Jacob's (Stone) United Church of Christ, 5152 Stone Church Road, Glenville. Pastor Melissa Eicholtz will officiate. Internment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewings will be held on April 13 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Geiple Funeral Home. Inc, 53 Main St., Glen Rock, and April 14 from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Celeste's life.
