Cecilia Fiscal BarrosoNovember 22, 1927 - April 21, 2016Cecilia Fiscal Barroso, 88, of Caldwell, ID, passed away at her home with her family by her side on Thursday, April 21, 2016. She was born on November 22, 1927 to Anastacio and Nicolasa Fiscal, in San Felipe, GTO, Mexico.Cecilia married Jesus G. Barroso on March 4, 1946. Together they began their migration from Texas to Idaho in 1965, settling in Caldwell, in the Sunny Slope community in 1985. Jesus took employment with Symms Fruit Ranch while Cecilia was a homemaker. She was a spiritual lady, devoted to reading scripture and loved nothing more than being surrounded by her family. She will be remembered for her love of the outdoors; as she appreciated nature and liked to partake in long walks, gardening, growing beautiful flowers and watching the deer in Albertson Park. She also enjoyed spending time at Camel's Back Park in Boise. Cecilia had a passion for cooking as well. Cecilia is survived by her children: Epi (Molly) of TX, Manuel F. (Jean) of Meridian, Sal of OR, David (Juanita) of Caldwell, Mary of Caldwell, Mac (Maddie) of Caldwell, Yolanda of Caldwell, Martin of TX, Hope of Caldwell, Ramona of Caldwell, Joe (Olivia) of Las Vegas, NV, Estela of Caldwell, Cecilia (Armando) Ramirez of Caldwell, Antonia (Samuel) Banda of Caldwell, Leticia Symms of San Diego, CA; 46 grandchildren; 49 great -grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jesus Barroso.The family would like to thank Tyler, Amy, Allie and Kate of Heart n' Home Hospice for their thoughtful care of Cecilia. A Viewing for Cecilia will be held on Sunday, April 24, 2016 from 5:00-8:00 PM with Rosary Recital at 7:00 PM, at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, Caldwell with interment following at Canyon Hill Cemetery, Caldwell.
