Carolyn M. Danenberger 1948 - 2016Carolyn M. Danenberger, 68, of Springfield, passed away on Sunday October 23, 2016 at Memorial Medical Center. She was born on September 11, 1948 in Springfield to Harold and Eileen Johnson Havenar. Carolyn married Sherwood Danenberger on May 10, 1976 in Springfield and he survives. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Charles Shipman and her step-father Frank Reisch.Mrs. Danenberger is also survived by her step-son Robert Danenberger of Deerfield Beach, FL., two sisters: Barbara (Harvey) Goetsch of Florida and Debbie (Dale) Ballinger of Murphysboro, two brothers: Steve Havenar of Kilbourne and Richard Havenar of Pennsylvania, and two grandchildren Logan and Kaela Danenberger.Carolyn graduated from Browns Business College and worked as an LPN at St. John's Hospital and at various nursing homes in the area. She enjoyed country line dancing with her husband Sherwood as members of the Southfork Dance Club.A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Friday October 28, 2016 at Bisch Funeral Home West, 2931 Koke Mill Road, with burial to follow at Woodwreath Cemetery in New Berlin. The family will meet friends from 9:30am until the time of service Friday at Bisch West.
