Jones Embry , Carolyn ,Carolyn Embry Jones, 60, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on October 19, 2017. She worked as an RN for Baptist Health Louisville and was a member of Thomas Jefferson Unitarian Church. Carolyn enjoyed reading books, baking, interior decorating and most of all spending time with her family, especially her grandson, Jonah. Carolyn was born on January 31, 1957 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Dale Embry and Dolores (Colburn) Embry. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Patrick Embry.Carolyn is survived by her two daughters Sierra Jones and Dominique Sweeny (Daniel); father of her daughters, Richard Jones; grandson, Jonah Rodriguez; siblings, Marilyn Dover (Kevin), Michael Embry (Mary), Sheri Stevens (Greg) and Paul Embry; and a host of nieces and nephews. Memorial visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, October 23, 2017 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243), with a celebration of Carolyn's life to follow at 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
