Carole Ann FaylorOctober 16, 1951 - June 23, 2014Carole Ann Faylor, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend passed away June 23, 2014 after a long illness. Carole was born on October 16, 1951 in Nampa, Idaho to Dr. Milford and Margaret (Peggy) Faylor.Carole graduated from Nampa High School in 1970 and later earned her Bachelor of Science Degree (Registered Nurse) at Seattle University.In addition to living in the Treasure Valley area, she enjoyed living in Spokane and Seattle, Washington. Carole was greatly admired in the nursing profession. Her knowledge, ability, and capacity for caring for others were remarkable. She was on staff at three world class medical institutions in Seattle; Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Swedish Medical Center and Virginia Mason Medical Center.Carole enjoyed reading and had a special interest in politics. She was a gourmet cook and very much "relished" putting on dinners for her family and friends.She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Milford and Margaret (Peggy) Faylor, husband Richard Kirby, and Uncles Dr. Reid and Gale Faylor.Carole is survived by brothers Jim Faylor of Caldwell and Dr. Robert Faylor of New York, nieces Julie Ann Faylor of Caldwell, Melinda, Jennifer, and Natasha Faylor of New York, Shannon Rauch of Lewiston, Aunts Peggy Lou Faylor of Nampa, and Catherine Faylor of Utah, Uncle Dale and Aunt JoAnne Faylor of Boise and many special cousins.Cris Hanson, Linda Logan Minor, Cheryl, Cory, and Brittany Freeman of Nampa, and Robin Fausett Bobier of Oxbow, Oregon, among her many good friends, are especially thanked for their loving help and kindness to Carole over the last few years.Carole's beauty, zest for life, and flair for fashion will be greatly missed.Graveside services will be held Monday, June 30th at 11:15 AM at the Cloverdale Cemetery, Boise, Idaho.To share a memory of Carole or to offer condolences to Carole's family, please visit www.alsipfuneralchapel.com.
