Carol Lou Temple Wilson, 87, Noblesville, passed away on April 11, 2017, at Arkansas River Valley Home at Russellville, Ark.Carol was born on July 30, 1929, in Carroll County to the late Sylvia Ann (Galloway) and John L. Temple Sr. She married Jesse L. Wilson on May 14, 1950, in Jefferson Township and he preceded her on Jan. 27, 2013.She was a 1947 graduate of Adams Township.She retired as secretary for East Tipp Middle School and had worked also at Dr. Wagoner's office as a Lab Technician.Carol was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Lafayette and Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Noblesville.She enjoyed watching hummingbirds, cardinals, and camping. She had enjoyed traveling across the United States and Europe. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed watching her grandchildren grow.She is survived by her children, Kristi (Michael) Cody, Noblesville, Jana (David) Calhoun, Clarksville, Ark., Michael J. (Melanie) Wilson, Arlington, Mass.; brother, Steve (Linda) Temple, Logansport; seven grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jesse and brothers, Tom and John "Jack" Temple.Visitation will be at the Lockport Church in rural Carroll County from 1 p.m. until the 3 p.m. funeral service on Tuesday. Pastor Nord Zootman will officiate. Burial will follow in the Seceder Cemetery in rural Carroll County.
