Carol Joan KlevenbergJuly 28, 1943 - February 23, 2016Carol Joan Klevenberg, 72, passed away on February 23, 2016 at the home of her daughter, Elaine Robey. Carol was born on July 28, 1943 in Meadville, PA to parents Clarence A. Schwab and Eloise R. Schwab (Schropp). She lived there with her older sisters, Marjorie and Suzanne. The family moved to Albuquerque, NM around 1947 and then moved to Missouri around 1955 where Carol graduated from Niangua High School in 1961.Carol moved to Phoenix, AZ to be near her sister, Marjorie, in 1963. There she met and married James A. Klevenberg in Las Vegas, NV in 1965. They had three children. Carol also loved Jim's two children from his previous marriage like they were her own. They moved to Claremore, OK in 1966. In 1969 they moved to Morris, MN to be closer to Jim's family. In 1971 they moved to Sauk Rapids, MN and in 1986 moved to Anoka, MN to be closer to Jim's job. In 1991 they moved to Sachse, TX to be in a warmer climate and to be closer to their daughter and grandchildren. Finally, in 1998 they moved to Idaho to be near family again.While living in MN Carol became a certified CNA and shared her love and compassion by caring for the elderly. Carol was a kid at heart and was fortunate enough when she lived in TX to continue to share her abundant love and compassion that she had for children by being a nanny to two families over the course of several years. She was loved by and touched the lives of these families so deeply that they have kept in touch with Carol until the time of her death. Finally, when Carol lived in ID she had great pride and joy in caring for her youngest granddaughter. The happiness this opportunity gave her was immeasurable. Carol also worked for Albertson's in the deli for several years as well as the Nampa school district as a cafeteria worker.If you asked Carol what her major accomplishment was in life she always said it was "her family." She took abundant joy and happiness in raising her children and being involved with her grandchildren and great grandchild as they grew up. Her family was her pride and joy.Carol is survived by her husband, James A. Klevenberg of Boise, ID; daughter, Elaine (Mike) Robey, Boise, ID; James Klevenberg, Jr. (Elicia), Livermore, CA; William Klevenberg (Shannon), Meridian, ID; Jerry Klevenberg (Luz), Mesa AZ and Julie Klevenberg, Mesa, AZ. Grandchildren: Melissa Keller, Melissa Lemp (Sean), Boise, ID; Christine Robey, Boise, ID; Miranda Klevenberg, Boise, ID; Nicholas Klevenberg, Boise, ID; Lisa Klevenberg, Spangdahlem, Germany; Kevin Klevenberg Santan Valley, AZ; and Samantha Klevenberg, Meridian, ID. Great grandchild: Scarlet Winchester, Boise, ID. Sisters: Marjorie Epps, Goodman, MO; Sue Kinkade (Glen), Columbia, MO. Sisters-in-law: Arliss (Marv) Godejohn, Burlington, ND; Wanda (Chuck) Renken, St. Cloud, MN and many nieces, nephews and friends.Carol was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Schwab; mother, Eloise Woods; step-father, Raymond Woods; father-in-law, Winfred Klevenberg; mother-in-law, Mabel Blomquist (Klevenberg); brothers-in-law, Gene Payne and Lanell Epps; her niece, Sherry Podtburg and her nephews, Tony Payne and Kurt (Grosser) Renken.Carol's memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 12th at 2:00 p.m. at Relyea Funeral Chapel located at 318 N.
