Carol HartCarol Marsh Hart, 67, of Tallahassee, passed away at home Tuesday, March 14, 2017.Carol was the daughter of the late Douglas H. Marsh Sr. and Sylvia J. Marsh, who survives, and was born on May 31, 1949, in Crites, West Virginia. The family moved to Tallahassee in the early sixties. Carol was a proud graduate of Leon High School, and later received paralegal training, eventually earning her Certified Legal Assistant designation. She worked her entire career as a highly-sought after legal assistant and paralegal, spending most of that time in Tallahassee, before retiring several years ago.Carol is survived by her two children, Dawn Singleton (Jason) of Oviedo, and Joseph Hart (Julie) of Gibsonton; her sister Christine Rabon (Charles), brothers David Marsh (Anne), and Douglas H. Marsh, Jr. (Debra); grandchildren Jake Wallace, Zane and Kate Singleton, and Addison and Logan Hart. She is also survived by her long-time and very dear friend Dixie Fleig, her former husband Bobby Hart, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Carol is predeceased by her father and her sister, Lethie Lanham.Carol was kind and generous to a fault. She loved her rescue dog, China, who brought great happiness to her later years. She enjoyed making trips back to her home state of West Virginia, and visits to Orlando and Tampa to spend time with her grandkids, whom she showered with love. Before her health became too poor, Carol enjoyed music and dancing, perusing thrift stores for that next magical find, and making her famous homemade macaroni and cheese. She leaves a hole that will never be filled.A service to commemorate her life will be held at 10 am on Saturday, March 25, 2017, at Faith Funeral Home, in Havana, FL.
