ALLENSTOWN – Carol A. (Dobe) Morissette, 73, of Allenstown, passed away surrounded by her loving family Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2017. She was born on June 17, 1943, in Manchester, daughter of Francis and Gabrielle Dobe (Coolidge).She enjoyed making beautiful crocheted afghan blankets, traveling with friends, playing Bingo, and Irish parades.Along with her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Rickie Morissette, and three sisters, Patricia Dobe, Doris Grimard and Catherine Ramirez.She is survived by three sons, Lee Morissette (Sabina) of Springfield, Vt., Alen Morissette (Melanie) of Gilmanton and Paul Morissette (Barbara) of Pembroke; a daughter, Lisa Morissette Case (Philip) of Manchester; six grandchildren, Matthew, Amanda, Bryan, Joseph, Andrew and Shawn; two great-grandchildren, Josie and Haileigh; a brother, Michael Dobe of Georgia; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.She was a wonderful mother, who loved her family.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.A memorial gathering will be held Sunday, Feb. 5, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street in Manchester. A memorial service will immediately follow the gathering, 12:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
