Carol A. FitzgibbonCarol A. Fitzgibbon, 72, of Lafayette passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2017.She was born on May 8, 1945 in Vallejo, CA to Josephine Held Slipher and the late Marion R. Slipher.On November 20, 1987she was married to Tom J. Fitzgibbon in Louisville, KY. He preceded her in death in 2010.Carol was a fan of NASCAR and she loved horse racing.Surviving is her mother, Josephine Slipher of Lafayette, her children, Brian Clendenen of Lafayette, Michael (Brandi) Davis of Fort Worth, TX, and Michelle Davis of Lafayette, siblings, Linda (Terry) Clendenen of Lafayette, Steve (Ronnie) Slipher of Delphi, Gerald (Jane) Slipher of Lafayette, Marilyn Slipher Dillion, and Cathy (Tom) Rosenbarger both of Bradington, FL. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Robert J.
