Caro Nell Lowder Kaufmann COLUMBIA - Caro Nell Lowder Kaufmann, 84, of Columbia, South Carolina passed away November 27, 2016 at her home in Columbia, South Carolina. She was born on November 3, 1932 in Florence, South Carolina to the late Hubert and Isla Dennis Lowder. Caro Nell is survived by daughters, Sarah McClain and Brenda Trafficanti (John); granddaughter, Amanda Redding (Chad); great grandchildren, Brilyn and Braxton Redding; and a brother, Joe Lowder (Brenda). She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lloyd Kaufmann; a son, Craig Kaufmann; a grandson, Jonathan Pierce; brothers, Arnold Lowder, Dennis Lowder and Russell Lowder; and a sister, Eulalia Jordan. The family will receive friends at Thompson Funeral Home at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 845 Leesburg Road, Columbia, SC 29209 on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 from 6 PM Until 8 PM. Funeral services will be in the Chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 2 PM with Pastor David Sturgeon officiating. Interment will follow the service at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 845 Leesburg Road, Columbia, SC 29209.
