Beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother

   Carmen was born in Utuado Puerto Rico. She was a strong mother of 7 and the matriarch of her family. She lost her own mother at the age of five to Cancer. She was raised by her father and at the age of 16 married and moved to Las Monjas, Puerto Rico. She became a certified Nurses Assistant and retired after 22 years. In 1989 she moved to Lowell, MA and worked part time taking care of children. All of her grand children and great-grand children and her dog Princess had a special place in her heart. In her past time she would knit and make and sell icecream in her neighborhood. She was well known and loved by all who crossed her path. 

   Carmen is survived by sons; Eduardo DeJesus, Felix DeJesus, Tony DeJesus, Frederick DeJesus, Joaquin DeJesus; daughters Nereida DeJesus and Carmen DeJesus; 12 grand children and 28 great-grand children; along with a host of otherextended family and friends that will cherish her memory.
