Carlos M. VegaSanta Paula, CACarlos M. Vega, 96, of Santa Paula, entered the presence of his Savior, on September 26, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.He was born on October 29, 1920, in San Dimas, California to Dolores and Jose Vega. He was a proud veteran of World War II. Soon after returning from the war, he married the love of his life, Virginia, and resided in the wonderful city of Santa Paula. Together, they had 3 beautiful children.He will be lovingly remembered by his children: Linda Carrillo, Anthony Vega, and Roma Diaz; his 6 grand children; 18 great-grandchildren; 17 great great-grandchildren; his brother, Raymond Vega; and many nieces, nephews, godchildren, and friends.He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Virginia; his parents, Jose and Dolores Vega; his siblings: Benny, Adolfo, Joaquin, Ruth, and Carmen.Per Carlos' request, a private service with full Military Honors was held. He will be interred at Santa Paula Cemetery. Arrangements were under the care of the JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, 757 E. Main Street, Ventura.
