Carl is survived by his devoted wife of 30 years, Bonnie Fierro Fredeen; a sister, Phyllis Hjerpe of Kensington, CT; four sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and Pamela Fredeen of Derrick City, PA, Kenneth and DonnaJean Fredeen of Skillman, NJ, Timothy and Jill Fredeen of Naples, FL, and Robert and Robyn Fredeen of Naples, FL; two step-sons and daughters-in-law, Christopher and Missy Schreckengost of Duncan, OK, and Cory and Kimberly Schreckengost of Winchester, VA; fourteen grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Edythe Nelson of Maryland; and his beloved daughter, Sandra Morrison of Bemus Point, NY.Carl was born on January 27th, 1928, in New Britain, Connecticut, to Rev. Carl Joel Fredeen and Mildred Hultman Fredeen. He is a graduate of North Park College (Chicago), where he played football and was in the marching band; and Rutgers University Stonier Graduate School of Banking. Following college, Carl relocated with his parents to the Jamestown, New York, area. He retired as Executive Vice President of Chase Bank in Jamestown after 38 years of service. He served as the board president of multiple organizations, including AAA of Jamestown, NY, Chautauqua Central School, and the Bemus Point Central School District. Carl served faithfully for many years in the Chautauqua Volunteer Fire Department as a Lifetime Member of the fire department. He was also an active member in local Rotary and Lions Club chapters and served on the Board of Directors of the New York State Teachers Retirement Fund. Carl and Bonnie have lived in Bonita Springs Florida since 1992.Carl passed many gifts along to his children, including his passions for music and sports. In addition to his instrumental endeavors, he was a fine vocalist and sang in many school and church choirs. He was an avid golfer and champion bowler, and spent countless hours fishing the waters of Chautauqua Lake. Some of the happiest moments of Carl's life were from the times he spent together with his wife Bonnie traveling, attending musical theater productions, and enjoying sports of all kinds.A private service of interment will be held on June 17th at Hodges Funeral Home.
