We are from God (Allaah) and unto him we return.
O God (Allaah) take him out of his plight and bring him something that is better.
Saahih Muslim
Legacy is not leaving something for people. It’s leaving something in people. Dido did that and he did it well.
Dido was friends with people from all types of backgrounds.
He truly had a “gift of compassion", Dido had the ability speak life into those that were at their lowest. He inspired them to not only do more but become more. If you scroll through the comments on his face book page then you know this to be true. I read post from men and women of all ages expressing feelings of a special place in their heart for Dido, who stood by them when they were broken from drugs, alcoholism and homelessness.
Death is not the end for Dido. His legacy lives on after death. Twelve years ago, Dido stood before us at his brother’s memorial and said “my good outweighs my bad”. I believe that was his mission in life.
You can to the family or in memory of Candido Gonzalez III.
