LONG, Charles Albert Age 68, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 5, 2016 in his residence. Charles was born on November 9, 1947 in Monessen, PA, a son of the late Edward Henry and Dagny (Kronander) Long. He married Wanda Tuck on August 3, 1968 and she survives with their two children, Mischelle (Dennis) Johnson of Urbana and Cara Long of St. Paris. He is also survived by two grandsons James (Miranda Fraley) Nicholas and Collin Sansom and one great grandchild, Quinn. Two brothers, Arthur Long of Virginia and Joseph Long of Arizona also survive. In addition to his parents, a sister Christine Anderson preceded him in death. Charles served in the U.S Air Force during the Vietnam era. He was a member of the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, The American Legion and was the Honorary Commodore 2015 & 2016 at Kiser Lake Sailing Club. Charles retired from Cascade Corporation in Springfield. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday November 26, 2016 beginning at 11:00 a.m with a service at 1:00 p.m in the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 4023 N. St. Rt. 235, St. Paris, Ohio 43072 with Reverend Sam Ronicker presiding. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Miami County Hospice, P.O.
