Carmen Beltran Mendoza (1935-2017) Carmen Beltran Mendoza, 81, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home on March 15, 2017. She was born on December 11, 1935 to Juan Beltran and Carmen Silvas. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, Carmen is survived by her beloved, loyal and attentive husband and caregiver, Carlos; sons Fernando (and spouse Sandy) & Chris; grandchildren Elizabeth, Jaclyn, Lauren & Lorenzo; her sister Irene Saenz (and spouse Richard), along with Family and many friends. She is preceded in death by her brothers Ramon and Juan Jr. (Johnny), and her sister Julia Martinez. Carmen enjoyed designing and making flower arrangements and bowled in various women's leagues in the area for more than 20 years. In spite of battling cancer for many years, she always managed to stay positive and keep smiling, seldom ever loosing her sense of humor. Carmen will be missed by many. Visitation and rosary service is planned for Monday, March 20th at 7PM at Martin Funeral Home Central (3839 Montana Ave). Funeral mass will be said on Tuesday, March 21st at 1PM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church (1315 Travis Street.) followed by internment at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery.
