KENDALLVILLE — Brian Michael Landrum, 38, of Kendallville died on Saturday, October 25, 2014, at 3:58 p.m. at the Hospice Home in Fort Wayne. Mr. Landrum had been battling cancer for the past year and a half. Mr. Landrum was born on February 24, 1976, in Lebanon, Indiana, to Michael and Karen (Kellum) Landrum. They survive in Kendallville. He grew up in Jamestown, Indiana, and attended Milligan College in Tennessee where he earned his bachelor's degree. On July 18, 2002, in Dubuque, Iowa, he married Kristine (Foster) Landrum. She survives in Kendallville. Brian and his family moved to Kendallville 11 years ago coming from Dubuque, Iowa. He was a mechanic for several years for Hayden Honda in Kendallville, and an active member to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Kendallville where he taught Sunday school. Brian was very active with his family. Everything revolved around his children. He also enjoyed making maple syrup, writing, spending time at Lake Michigan and loved music. Surviving along with his wife and parents are three sons and one daughter, Matthew Landrum, Oliver Landrum, James Landrum and Violet Landrum, all at home; a sister, Tracy McPherson of Lebanon; paternal grandmother, America Landrum of Jamestown, Indiana; mother- and father-in-law, Jay and Laurie Smith of Zionsville, Indiana; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 30, 2014, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Kendallville. Father James Stoyle will officiate. Burial will follow at the Lake View Cemetery in Kendallville. Visitation will be today, Wednesday, October 29, 2014, from 5-8 p.m. at the Brazzell Funeral Home, Avilla Chapel.
