Brenda Ann Johnson was born on February 22, 1948 to the late Esther Reese and Ray Dell Reese in Los Angeles, California. Brenda was one of three childen born to this union. In 1968 she and her family moved to Gardena, Ca where she received her formal education through the los angeles unified school district. 

On August 15, 2000 she married the love of her life Jahaad Bolden. She accepted the lord at a early age while being a faithful member of the greater Mt. Sinai Baptist Chuch. Brenda worked as a truck driver until the lord called her home. She was loved by her family and friends and will forever be remembered for her beautiful smile and having a lot of fun with family and friends. 

She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, granchildren,aunts and uncles, sister, brother, a handful of neices and nephews. Lots of cousins and friends.
