Bonnie Jean ShirerZANESVILLE: Bonnie Jean Shirer, 88 of Zanesville died at 8:21pm Monday, November 10, 2014 at the Genesis Good Samaritan Medical Center ER.She was born on September 17, 1926 in Zanesville, Ohio the daughter of Daniel Webster Morrison and Dora Edith Huffman Morrison.Bonnie was a member of East 40 Church of Christ, employed for 22 years, from January 1975 to December 1997, with the Muskingum County Department of Human Services and enjoyed baking.She is survived by a daughter, Victoria (Terry) Sheets, granddaughter, Stephanie Sheets and grandson, Broc Sheets; a son, Daniel (Cynthia) Shirer and granddaughters, Leighann and Kaylee Shirer; and a great granddaughter, Kenleigh Stricklett; a brother, Leland W. Morrison and a sister, Arlene (Robert) Nelson. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Thomas C. Shirer.Friends may call 4 to 7pm on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home where funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, November 14, 2014 with Pastor Roger Morrow officiating.
