Bonnie Champayne, 90, of Rockford, Illinois, United States, passed Monday, March 02, 2020. Bonnie was born August 04, 1929 to Catherine L. Lawrence and Gerald R. Lawrence.  She was preceeded in death by her parents (Catherine & Gerald Lawrence) and husband Roy M. Champayne. She is survived by her daughter Kathy (William) Martin of Somers, Montana. Three Grandchildren Marko R. Culich (Chicago, IL), Raechelle L Martin (Lena, IL), Chad (Kimberly) C. Martin (Yorkville, IL), and two great granddaughters. She was avidly involved in community fundraising and a member of Women's Garden Chapter of Sinissipi Park. She was on the board of directors for Four Winds Condo Association Naples, Florida, for 15 years. Before it became too difficult to travel, she enjoyed spending her time in Naples, Florida with her Eucher Club and the Naples Womens Auxillary Chapter. In lieu of services, a celebration of life will be held at the Four Winds Condo Association in Naples, Florida on March 13th at 7pm.
