Billie Jean (Mabry) CrowEula, TXBillie Jean (Mabry) Crow, 83, passed away from natural causes on Sunday, April 23, 2017, at her Eula home. Billie was the oldest child of Fred William Mabry and Della Mae (Brannon) Mabry, born on August 22, 1933 in Corsicana. After losing both parents at the age of 9, Billie, her brother Horace, and her sister Patricia, moved to Buckner Orphan's Home in Dallas. Upon graduating salutatorian, she moved to Abilene to attend Hardin-Simmons, where she met her husband, Lloyd Brittain Crow. Her love of family and friends was legendary, as was her sweet tooth. Her grandchildren, great grandkids and nephew, were the light of her life. She loved Jesus, sunshine and gardening, children, animals, and "old people". Billie loved to have fun. She will be missed everyday by her children; Breta Easterwood, Lawrence Crow, Anneva Crow, and Elena Bailey, as well as their partners, present and past. Her memory also lives on in her brothers, Buck and Horace, her grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family, and cherished friends. In lieu of flowers...give to a charity you love, kiss your pets, listen to music, and give someone a hug in Billie's memory. A celebration of her life will be on May 13th in Eula.
