Services pending with Lucas Funeral Home in Keller, Texas.He was born on July 8, 1942 in Palestine, Texas to Bill and Lillian DePrang. He graduated from Wink High School in 1960 and from University of Texas in 1964. He served in the Navy as a lieutenant during the Vietnam War.On June 18, 1966, David married Mary Pat Rawlings in San Diego, California. They have lived in San Diego, California, Uvalde, San Angelo and Keller, Texas. They spent most of their married life in San Angelo, Texas. In San Angelo, he began as President of Concho Valley Savings and Loan. He served as Senior Vice President at various banks in San Angelo, including Bank of the West and Texas Bank. He was loved by all that met him and will be remembered by his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren as a kind and caring man that valued his family above all else. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Mary Pat of Keller, Texas; his son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Amy DePrang of Fort Worth, Texas; a daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Karl Gager of Madison, Mississippi; a daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Walker Beach of Keller, Texas; 14 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a sister and brother-in-law, Denise and Bill Price of Georgetown, Texas.Memorial Mass will take place at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 19, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Keller, Texas, with interment at 2:30 p.m. in DFW National Cemetery with military honors.
