Beverly Joy GroseSPARLAND — Beverly Joy Grose, 62, of Sparland passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 in Peoria.Joy was born on April 21, 1954 in Princeton to Charles Richard and Beverly Jean (Callahan) Magnuson. She married Brian I. Grose on November 1, 1985 in Lacon. He survives.Also surviving are: one daughter, Jessica Needham of Peoria Heights; two sons, Trevor Needham of St. Louis, MO and Dylan Grose of Sparland; and three brothers, Steve (Susan) Magnuson of Brookesville, FL, Wayne (Mary Ann) Magnuson of Henry, and Gale (Mickie) Magnuson of Lacon. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Ray Magnuson.Joy worked as a farm market consultant. Joy loved knitting, spinning, baking, playing piano, and bowling.A funeral will be held for Joy at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Calvary Bible Church in Lacon. Friends and relatives are invited to a visitation with the family from 5-7:00 P.M. on Tuesday evening, November 29, 2016 at the church. Burial will be at LaPrairie Center Church Cemetery.
