Betty Virginia Jones (Virginia) was born May 21, 1944, in Shreveport, Louisiana. On July 15, 2018, she departed this life. She was preceded in death by her father; Nathaniel G. Jones, Brother: George Freeman Jones, Nathan K.Jones, Sammie Jones, Sister; Evelyn Jones, Bernice Jones, Margaret Jones, Ninnie Jones. Annie White.

Betty Virginia worked at Southern University for 10 years before she moved to Salisbury, North Carolina where she later retired as a High School Teacher. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, cooking and helping out her community.

Betty Virginia is survived by her son: Paul Clayton Mother; Kathy Mae Jones, grandchildren; Payton Clayton, Isreal Clayton, London Spears, Nieces, and Nephews; Shaneeka Jones, Jericho White, Malik White, Timothy Cannon, Shaneeka White, Katina White Brianna White along with close cousins, relatives, and friends.
